Tate greenscreen installation
Woking with the TATE Gallery we where tasked with the challenge of building a live green screen installation.
Working closely with the team at TATE we had to construct a large green screen infinity curve that would work in real time, so the public could see and use to create composited images projected onto the wall around them. Built as a free standing structure constructed out of timber and painted with chroma key paint, reinforced to be strong enough to take multiple people at a time.
Installing in a listed building wasn’t without it’s challenges for construction and lighting in a space obviously not designed to take such a space. Working with Tate, building mangers and in house technicians we where able to create a live feature space.
